SIGNED photographs of Henry Cooper and Mohammed Ali have been stolen in from a house in Eastern Green.

The black and white images show the pair clashing in the 1966 world title fight.

One, signed by Cooper, shows him standing in the middle of the boxing ring with Mohammed Ali in the corner of the photograph.

The other, signed by Ali, shows him standing over a fallen Cooper.

A large poster advertising the bout which had been mounted on a metal backboard was also taken from the home on Sutton Avenue.

Other items stolen during the raid sometime between October 17 and 19 include two plasma TVs, a set of plain gold cufflinks and silver cufflinks embossed with the Aston Villa crest along with a silver chain with a pendant also embossed with the Villa crest.

Detective Constable Catriona Green said: "The items are of considerable sentimental value to the 37-year-old victim as they were a gift from his relatives.

"He is devastated following the burglary and no longer feels settled in his own home, and is seriously considering moving."
