ROADWORKS at Festival Island will see it partly-closed overnight until late September.
Re-surfacing work started on Monday along with new traffic signals, road signs and markings at the junction, which links the A45 and A46.
All work is taking place between 8pm and 6am.
Highways Agency project manager Helen Jamieson said: "Once complete, the work will result in reduced delays, less congestion through the junction together with improved safety for road users."
