Hi: 19° Lo:7° 7 day

SOME 2,500 people basked in one of the hottest days of the year on Sunday as they took part in the Coventry Fun Run.
The run took them from War Memorial Park, through Earlsdon and Cheylesmore back to the park.
Organisers the Coventry Three Spires Round Table also put on a host of other entertainment including a bouncy castle, face painting, beat the goalie with Coventry City, welly wanging and displays from the Kombat Breakers among others.
Runners were raising money for their own chosen charities with Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Myton Hospice and the RSPCA among this year's beneficiaries.
