AN evening of gypsy jazz will be staged at Taylor John's House.
Coventry University music performance student Tommy Loose will be taking to the stage as part of the quartet All of the Right Notes
The 25-year-old has spent the past year teaching himself how to play gypsy jazz style guitar and arrange music.
And on Saturday, May 19 he will be playing authentic Maccaferri guitars as part of the quartet that is made up of his dad Roger on violin, head of ensembles Chris Evans on bass and fellow student Pete Hurst on the second guitar.
Gypsy jazz is a genre that many people will have probably heard but not realised.
Tickets for the show at the venue in Coventry's Canal Basin are £3 with all profits from the night will go to Diabetes UK – a topic close to his heart as his daughter is a Type 1 diabetic.
