Caged: Russell Fletcher sexually abused young girls
AN AMUSEMENT arcade owner who sexually abused young girls has been jailed.
Russell Fletcher, 46, was sentenced to five years in prison today (Friday) after admitting eight counts of sexual assault.
They included five on a girl under 14 and three assaults on a girl under 13 by touching, and were carried out between 2003 and 2011, Coventry Crown Court heard.
He runs Fun Bobs Amusement Arcade in Hales Street - formally known as The Buzz Arcade.
Police believe there could potentially be other victims and are continuing their investigation.
Det Con Tonino Rossi, from Coventry Force CID, said: "Fletcher would befriend the victims in the arcade and when confident enough would commit the acts as charged.
"The majority of offences took place in his office away from the main public area.
"We have five victims, all of whom are not known to each other.
"The inquiry still continues to unearth any other potential victims."
