AN up and coming band who have supported Bon Jovi and Lostprophets are to play at the Kasbah.
Young Guns will be promoting the new single Bones from their second album of the same name at the gig on Saturday, March 31.
The album marks the five-piece alternative rock band's transition from a band packed with potential to bona fide contenders for the title of Britain's best.
The band, who current line up is Gustav Wood (vocals), John Taylor (guitar), Fraser Taylor (guitar), Simon Mitchell (bass) and Ben Jolliffe (drums), formed in 2003 but it was not until 2010 that they released their first album.
The success of All Our Kings Are Dead put them on magazine covers and sell-out headline tours as well as landing high profile support slots.
They have also become festivals regulars in the UK and Europe, culminating in an appearance on the main stage at the Reading Festival, and have had airplay on Radio One.
Doors open at 9.30pm and tickets for the gig cost £5 from the Kasbah on 024 7655 4473 or online wwe.kasbahnightclub.com.
