ONE biker died and another was injured in a smash on Hillmorton Road in the city.
A passer-by tried to resuscitate one of the bikers, but he was later declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The 26-year-old has not yet been named.
The second biker, believed to be in his early 20s, suffered arm and head injuries, and was treated on scene before being taken to University Hospital.
The smash happened in Hillmorton Road just after 1pm on Saturday.
Hilmorton Road was closed for three hours while police made enquiries at the scene.
